Since it began operations in 1998, the PlaNet Finance network has made a difference in the lives of more than 3 million people across the globe. We have:
Provided technical assistance to 700 MFIs in 60 countries with a client base in excess of 3 million
Provided best practices training to 1,700 microfinance professionals
Provided 209 MFIs with IT equipment to improve their operating efficiency
Assessed and rated 145 MFIs to support their own fundraising efforts
Directly financed small loans for 15,000 people to start or expand a business
Raised more than ¥7 billion in debt and equity funds to help MFIs grow
Created 191 websites to enable MFIs to promote themselves and share information
